Dairy is where McClary started — in 1912.

McClary Industries began as a dairy operation in 1912. Five generations later, dairy remains foundational to the business. Our dairy leadership team brings enterprise-scale operating depth across cultured products, butter, and fluid milk — including nine years of plant operations management at one of North America’s largest dairy enterprises. Long tenure in regulated work matters, and dairy is the most regulated category we operate.

A2 milk & specialty dairy

A2 protein milk, lactose-free, organic, and grass-fed dairy. Direct sourcing relationships with regional dairy cooperatives.

Fluid milk & cream

HTST and ultra-pasteurization for fluid milk, half-and-half, heavy cream, and creamers. Extended shelf life and ESL formats.

Cottage cheese & sour cream

Traditional and small-curd cottage cheese, full-fat and reduced-fat sour cream, crème fraîche, and Mexican-style cremas.

Butter & cultured butter

Sweet cream butter, cultured butter, salted and unsalted, European-style high-fat butter. Enterprise-scale butter manufacturing depth on staff.

Functional & nutritional dairy

Our dairy leadership team brings nine years of plant operations management at enterprise scale, with category depth spanning cultured products, butter manufacturing, and fluid milk.

The dairy network is anchored by long-standing relationships with regional dairy cooperatives and direct-farm sourcing programs — including A2 protein supply, certified organic, and grass-fed milk. For brands launching specialty dairy SKUs, ingredient supply is integrated rather than sourced quarter-to-quarter on the open market.
